Error 8E5EO3FA I too have been dealing with this same Error Code 8E5EO3FA! Dell completely cleaned up my PC, works fine, but still getting this Error Code for updates. Error Code 8007006E - windows 7 This worked for me. I have Office 2003, not 2007. Microsoft Update wanted to install KB972581 but it would always fail. As suggested, I ran the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack (FileFormatConverters.exe) installation and it failed as predicted.
