I'll go give it a try! Bother. I found a very third party SIM but no luck, no "connect to iTunes" and particularly no magic unlock packet. I'll leave it until next firmware upgrade. Still no SMS, and I'm very reluctant to do the 3.1.3 upgrade until I know I'll be unlocked.... -- SteveH

That's O2's response to Apple saying "the unlock is ready and waiting for the punter (except Jaimie)". Might be worth bothering customer service to make sure it was presented to Apple and not just wedged in the system somewhere. Was yours PAYG? Do you know when the 15 was taken from your credit? Just wondering if I haven't received the SMS because the SIM was in my wallet and not in a phone.... also, if I'm already unlocked and jailbroken, I do wonder if iTunes will pick it up. -- SteveH

I was jailbroken but not unlocked. Although, if your sim isn't in the phone, how could they unlock your phone? -- Woody |
