I thought the unlock was actioned via iTunes, not via the network. The SIM has been in the phone for 12+ hours now, and still no SMS. -- SteveH

Ours tend to be for a local plumber. Not the one we use, either. We used to get faxes from a local Jag dealer with credit applications from would-be Jag owners with their full credit history, bank accounts, signatures etc. I could have taken early retirement years ago... -- Sak Wathanasin Network Analysis Limited http://www.network-analysis.ltd.uk

I love the bourgeois sleaze of the cote d'azur. I did not roam - there were wifi cafes. That said, I sent a lot of texts. I hope I read right that they come out of your package, but at cost of four to one. I have a lot of free texts and I am going to hope I didn't go over too much. -- bellajonez at yahoo dot co dot uk

Saw the photos- I wondered how you were sending them, as even at iPhone size, they woud have cost a bob or two. I could see you were having a decent weather of it because Nice tourist office have a very nice webcam that looks down on the Promenade des Anglais. Speaking of which... > Just mooched and walked and sightsaw(sp?) All worth it for going up the Chemin Nietzsche. Oh Superwoman. -- Peter

Hope that doesn't cost for images?? Aha, so you have been on Facebook? > I could see you were having a decent weather of it because Nice tourist > office have a very nice webcam that looks down on the Promenade des > Anglais. Weather was totally mixed. Hot sun, with chilly breeze, clouds, heavy rain, light cloud, etc etc. Got tiny tan yesterday in Menton. > Speaking of which... > > Just mooched and walked and sightsaw(sp?) > > All worth it for going up the Chemin Nietzsche. In fact I lightweighted out of that journey in the end - due to flip flops, being on my own and lack of people around. Did not want to come a cropper in various ways. Was also spoiling for a cold that day. Went home and lay down. But Eze is amazing. Touristified but still wondrous. > Oh Superwoman. Ha. I nearly died after going up one set of stairs. Did lots of walking and saw many lovely sights. Kentish Town in the rain, and a visit to Sainsbury's, does not match up on any level. Here is the website. Nice guy, Richard, who looks after the flats. Recommended. <http://www.myvillefranche.co.uk/> -- bellajonez at yahoo dot co dot uk |
