Simplenote syncs with notational velocity and notebook syncs with
toodledo.com - and there are plenty of others (free and paid) in the app
store.

Or there's pastebot, which allows you to copy-paste between Mac and
iPod/iPhone...

Evernote is one such - an iPhoneOS app plus the obvious website.
