From: Ritch_DA on 17 Mar 2008 09:38 Hi Henrik Yes very sound advice. Unfortunately I dont have another external drive to hand, however I did create a share on a spare workstation and did a test backup of a few folders which did complete succesfully. So I guess I will have to wait for a response from Lacie (when they decide to get back to me). From: Kerry Brown on 17 Mar 2008 10:16 I'm guessing it's a permissions problem. The SBS backup runs as the System account which may not have permissions on the NAS. -- Kerry Brown MS-MVP - Windows Desktop Experience: Systems Administration http://www.vistahelp.ca/phpBB2/ "Ritch_DA" <RitchDA(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0FA9A176-56A2-46DD-AA43-5972C27C07B4(a)microsoft.com... > Hi there > > I have just installed a 500GB LaCie ETHERNET DISK MINI GIGABIT NAS on one > of > our networks.
