Actually, just to clarify, the "That do you?" bit was in the same tone as
your comment. The rest was cut'n'pasted from the article.

It was also a valid comment. You have a tendency not to accept evidence that
other people would, so it was actually a genuine question.

I assume you are now happy that there are non-Apple devices capable of
playing AAC files. To the best of my knowledge it's only Apple devices that
can play AAC files protected with Apple's Fairplay DRM. I think a few have
tried to circumvent this but I could be wrong.

And that wasn't even close to being an exhaustive list. If you buy a
non-iPod "mp3 player" these days you have more chance of it supporting
AAC than not. Almost all car stereos do. Many TVs do. Most MP3-capable
home stereos do, I expect, as well as most software players. Even the
Zune does.

These days it's more widely supported than WMA. How times change (for
the better).

I wasn't, but if you're heading down this route then there's not much
point continuing the discussion.

All I'll say is that I avoided telling you to "type aac into the google
search box and select the first result" as you'd dismiss it as sneering;
however, I do recommend doing that before you continue making statements
about the subject.

Yeah, well I'm He-Man, and everyone knows he bosses about the Masters of
the Universe. So I win.

I'm currently plowing my way through Gatchaman (or Kagaku Ninjatai Gatchaman
[Science Ninja Team Gatchaman]).

If you remember Battle of the Planets, it's that, in the original Japanese,
uncut, with no sodding 7-Zark-7.

It's...quite good. Actually it's bloody brilliant. BotP had all the violence
cut out of it. Gatchaman doesn't.
