A majority of them always look darker than they should be even though my iMac is turned up to maximum brightness. Is this because of the differing Gamma between Apple and Windows ? Howard

It shouldn't be, because Youtube videos all look fine, on all the Macs in the family, seven in all, including an iG5. I have seen this darkness problem with DVDs on an iMac DV (I think it was called) which was one of the old tubed egg-shaped ones, but that was a long long time ago, and I'm assuming that your iMac must be more modern than that? -- Peter

I also ran in in parallel in Firefox 3.5.8 and they look identical - quite dark :-( H |
