qemu or qemu-kvm for kvm in squeeze Hi. I have been wondering what is the difference between qemu and qemu-kvm packages for kvm virtualization. Manual page in qemu packages shows, that it should be able to work with kvm. bigmem kernel having installed the bigmem kernel package, should I then remove the regular kernel package? my concern is that if I don't, the next update to it will replace vmlinuz with the regular kernel. or are the installers smart enough to avoid that? ... 5 Mar 2010 11:40
qtparted and kernel disagree about partitions I have a hard drive with a primary partition and an extended partiton. QTParted says that it has /dev/hda1, /dev/hda2 and /dev/hda5 which is what one would expect, but when I boot the disk the kernel reports that there are only the /dev/hda1 and /dev/hda2 partitons, no /dev/hda5. wrong resolution with ATI and open source drivers I have some troubles configuring xorg to user the correct resolution with the open sources ati drivers.
