Optics
I created a simple 10mW IR laser but need some decent optics to focus the beam for longer range. Does anyone know where I could purchase optics for such things(at decent prices). It doesn't have to particularly fancy. The lenses by themselves would work just fine too. ... 29 Apr 2010 16:56
Very fast oscilloscopes
I bet Agilent wants a pretty penny for their new 32GHz real-time scopes: http://cp.literature.agilent.com/litweb/pdf/5990-5271EN.pdf And to think that it was only ~20 years ago that a Tek 11802 with the SD-24 (24GHz) sampling head -- that samples at all of 100kHz -- was the hotest ticket... now available on e... 7 May 2010 20:04

closed loop control of solenoid frequency and stroke
I have a project in which I would like to produce a "smooth" reciprocating motion with an adjustable stroke length between about 1 mm and 2 mm and an adjustable frequency between 100 Hz and 150 Hz. I think there might be some advantages to using a solenoid for this (as opposed to a rotary motor and a mechanical de... 4 May 2010 03:33

VBUS design USB OTG
Hi The schematic below is from ISP150x application note. The OTG application uses external charge pump to source 5V(a)100ma in the host mode. If the OTG application role is changed from Host to Device/ Peripheral powered from the connected USB Host, the VBUS line receives 5V from the host. The charge pump is in di... 29 Apr 2010 11:15
