I am happy to pay 15 per gb but as I travel infrequently the non expiry was a big attraction. Self employed and want to access e mails from my laptop for 3 or 4 days every couple of months - the Voda deal was perfect. -- Richard C

Agreed - except that you're very unlikely to get landline performance! It's also worth considering 3's offering. You can buy a '3' dongle for about 20. The trick is to throw away the SIM which comes with it and replace it with a free '3' PAYG SIM. You can then buy internet access add-ons in quantities to suit your intended usage. A 5 top-up can be converted to: * A month's access (compared with 10 per month if using the original SIM), or * Two separate one week periods at 2.50 per week, or * Ten individual days at 50p per day - spread over as long a period as you like (and with each 'day' lasting until midnight on the following day, so you can get nearly 2 days for your 50p if you do it early in the morning) Or, of course, you can buy a Skypephone S2 and use *that* as your 'dongle' at the above rates - as well as being able to make use of a heap of free texts, free '3' to '3' calls, etc. on the phone every time you top up. -- Cheers, Roger ______ Email address maintained for newsgroup use only, and not regularly monitored..
