There's a brassica continuum, from cauliflower which I find quite pleasant in some cases (e.g. a good aloo gobi), through brocolli and cabbage to sprouts which make me feel sick to think of. No doubt there is some substance (or group of substances) which these foods have in increasing quantity, to which some people are much more sensitive than others. -- Richard -- Please remember to mention me / in tapes you leave behind.

You misunderstand. I'm not making any assertion about what sprouts taste like to *you*, just about what they taste like to me. You know best what they taste like to you, and I know best what they taste like to me. -- Richard -- Please remember to mention me / in tapes you leave behind.

Cabbage I like. Brocolli I can't stand, also cauliflower. In fact cauliflower and sprouts are about equal in my "no way in Hades am I eating that" league table. No, you've failed to understand me. There is no way of getting any of you sprout-haters to understand my points - you've all got closed minds.
