It depends on the point of view. Through history the winner of a
conflict is the good one and the loser the evil one. Just before and
during WWII killing the jews was a good thing in the eyes of many (not
all!) Germans because their government told them so. A lot of people
think that putting moslim extremists in jail without a trial is a good
thing because their government told them so. You may call that a
horrifying comparison I find it horrifying that very few people see
the parallels here. We're on a slippery slope here. I wouldn't like to
find myself in medieval times where an inquisitor can knock on your
door any moment.

Why don't you tell us:
Why did North Vietman blow up an AFRTS TV station?

How can Paris suck? Only thing I can think of is the fact the French
are not speaking English very well but that has improved a lot during
the last 20 years.

Berlin is also nice. Been there last year. I'm planning a trip through
Italy by car. First down the east coast (Pisa) to Rome then back up to
Verona en Venica. Maybe a short stop at lake Garda (the east coast is
interesting to drive by car driving around the whole lake takes a
day). Maybe this spring or next year. Spring is the best time to visit
any European country/city.

That *was* humor, but you did not get it :-)
