It is quite shocking really. European's aren't much better. I spent the
summer visiting several countries for conferences and the like, and getting
through some Airports was a joke. Getting searched five or six times between
handing in luggage and getting on the plane is comical. At least it means
they aren't using racial profiling (I am quite clearly a late middle aged,
white, Anglo Saxon male...)

In the US it is even funnier - albeit in different ways. Baggage searches
are a joke. The whole thing strikes me as monumentally pointless.
