I guess BAH's paranoia extends to using a PC intelligently ! Heck maybe 'they' really *are* out to get her ? Graham

What excuse do you have for still using such an antique ? I recently picked a Pentium 3 with 256M of RAM, 10GB hd, CD-ROM, audio, 64M graphics card and LAN for the princely sum of ?10 ! I'm actually using it right now ! Graham

Where did the oil go ? Its obvious. Canada will buy up all the oil. They already have more than Saudi Arabia but they want to have it all. They are not practical for long commutes but as I sure the folks in Florida will confirm, even the golf cart will work as a way to get the old folks to the 7-11[1]. The electric car has the advantage that you don't need to drive it to the gas station to fill it up. For many this would be the longest trip they would take. [1] A type of small store in the US that is open 24 hours and sell stuff at high prices.

Oh yeah, I forgot, we don't have a World > Barter Center. There is no reason to let the "barter" claim stand at all. There is nothing in Islam that prevents investments and the use of money. They do have a rule against loaning for a fixed interest on the debt. They will invest money in your business for a share of the future profits. They buy a lot of stocks but they don't buy many bonds. They bargain hard and use money. In many ways they are better capitalists than christians. |
