It's not. You're making things up again. You have provided a single example of a
product that's not widely available in the UK ( because ppl aren't much interested
in it ) !

You also can't get Cornish Clotted Cream in the USA btw AIUI ! Just try it.

There's little demand for buttermilk so it's not widely stocked. Simple really.
It's 'the market' in action.

If you wanted it in every shop you'd want a socialist system perhaps.
