Death is irreverseable. Yes, true, but if you were imprisoned and were there for likely life, until you die (say 50-80 years in there), what's the difference between how terrible that is and death? I doubt one really sounds much worse than the other in a lot of situations. Regardless, I don't agree that just because it's permenant, that it shouldn't EVER be done. But, again, I'm not the one making those decisions or putting a needle in someone's arm, so I might view it differently if it was a real situation and decision, because it would be difficult to accept that responsibility. In addition, I respect that I don't have a lot of faith in other people's decisions or reasons, and it's not something I always feel comfortable with leaving that control in other people's hands (nor do I have the time or motivation to want to personally try and follow every case, or any for that matter). Tough topic. -- Not really a wanna-be, but I don't know everything.
