I had googled that and got the system management stuff on apple.com.
Since it was system and not power specifically, and since the webpage
indicated it was something to be done only after trying all this other
stuff, I got spooked as to whether I got the right thing. I am an avowed
wuss in playing with the innards (g). Thanks for the clarification from

It shouldn't hurt to give it a shot, even without doing all that other
stuff they tell you to do before trying it.

Yes, absolutely. Whenever you have a problem, just bring your Mac to a
Mac Genious. They make all problems disappear.
