It's also financially viable to hang on a few months for XBox games -
prices plummet. Classic editions are <�10; Bioshock is �30 for the Mac
and �10 for the XBox. I understand the financial reasons but thanks
very much, I'll get the cheap one.

What it reminds me of is working on Tomorrow's World; as it got dark
outside and people went home, the five hard-core Doom gamers would stay
behind in the dim-lit office and played Doom on the BBC internal
network. God only knows when *they* went home- I never stayed to find
out.

I am not one for the XBox / playstation console route. Unfortunately
most of the sort of games I would play I can't play on an XBox, so it is
a bit of a non starter for me.
