I play games on my old Macs. There aren't many good games for Intel Macs that I've found. The best Mac games are all Classic AFAICT. I probably would, but then I tend to play a game a year, where a game is a large thing, unlike something on the iPhone. I got 2 this year for christmas on the PC, Modern Warfare 2 and Fallout 3. Both are good in their own way. Modern Warfare 2 lasted over a long weekend, fallout 3 has lasted.. well.. we are in march now! -- Woody www.alienrat.com

Heh - likewise. And a Wii, and a PS2 that doesn't get turned on much any more. But I find they're different classes of game. For instance, I've just started Darksiders on the '360, which is basically a Zelda game except with hypermacho Xbox styling. Tonight I've got an 8-player Burnout Paradise session organised, and (going on past evidence) it'll just work - unlike other platforms without a sane mediating network-games layer. On the Mac, I've been playing Monkey Island episodes and My Kingdom For The Princess (a great name!) which is a lot more fun than it sounds, it's kindof like short levels of The Settlers than anything else. But I also play Oblivion and Portal. I wouldn't play them on a console. Cheers - Jaimie -- human /mia'ow/ n.: Combination can-opener and heated chair-cover |
