I will second Xananews. After trying a myriad of newsreaders XN was
the one I finally moved to. It is very user-friendly, has many
options, no .ini file to mess around with, a fantastic coloring scheme,
that applies to threads and accounts, customizable keyboard shortcuts,
batch file setups, etc. I can't name them all here, but if you decide
to try it there is a forum for users that will answer your questions.

I tried to like Xnews but it was way too complicated for me to set up
to my tastes.

Thanks; interesting.

Does it do the "auto-size" window-toggling thing as well?

Our Rating: (Excellent)

40tude Dialog is a newsreader (Usenet) with Unicode support. It comes with
a customizable interface, color coded messages, support for multiple
servers and identities, filtering and much more. It supports binary

Nice, modern interface and tons of features.
