I had been vaguely aware of these seemingly-slight differences, but became painfully aware of the issue earlier this year, while I got dragged through a half dozen electronic stores in Paris on what had been a free afternoon off. The reason was because my traveling companion had forgotten to bring their allegedly standard, but sufficiently obscure USB permutation for which no one else's cable was able to fit. -hh

Netbooks *alone* do far more than the MaxiPad can, and the fact the MaxiPad can perhaps do one or two things - such as GPS - which a netbook typically can't doesn't change that. In any case, you've just demonstrated you are, in fact, too freaking stupid to bother with further, so... plonk.
