Tektronix 2445 Readout is no good , video included

Avometer Model 8 repair
I have an Avometer Model 8 in excellent condition except for some corrosion in the battery compartment. Before I have a go at stripping the compartment out and either cleaning or replacing the corroded bits, has anyone any tips on doing this ? Any sources of replacement battery compartments ? Both channels on the verticle front end are damaged. One dual FET follower is a definite (Q1297). It is tek part number 151-1090-00. I haven't seen one yet using google. Bush WS6680SIL (standby led pulsing)
I've got this set with the standby led pulsing and a buzzing sound in one of the speakers. I've tested the secondary voltages and they are all normal.
