Laney VC30
Usual suspects, even though only 2 years old probably. But final straw was mains fuse blowing at switch on, no major problems on previous use. Consumption max 100mA rating plate says and 1.6A antisurge for 115V use and 630mA antisurge for here , 230V use , toroidal transformer. Owner did not chuck the fuse and it i... 8 Oct 2009 03:28

I have a Dell E152FPc Flat screen Monitor 15" that goes black after about a second after it is powered on. My friend was a wining bidder on a guitar amp, it was posted as not working, stating that it blows the fuse instantly. So he knew that it was broke from the start, didn't pay much for it. Philips CD-670 (CDM2/10 transport) sometime fails the startup sequence, ...sometime not.
It has a CDM2 transport driven by TDA 5708 and TDA 5709. I think it is the famous Philips original control board... At the end of the drawer closing procedure it sometime reads the TOC correctly. Sometime not. Same turning it on or pressing play with a CD in. When the startup sequence is successfull (TOC content c... 3 Oct 2009 06:42
