Thereby putting to rest the notion that OS > X is unix. i heard that too. you know that letter steve jobs wrote about how much he hates flash? that's just a diversion. the real surprise for this year's developer conference is that the next version of mac os will be entirely based on silverlight. that's the real reason he hates flash. you heard it here first.

If I were to send this to Reuters, the best they could do is "a source familiar with someone who heard the rumour". Not very credible. But if you were to send this yourself, it would be "a source familair with Apple has stated that ..." :-)

If you use any Apple equipment, then you're "familiar with Apple". ;-)

Thereby putting to rest the notion that OS > X is unix. Apple will also drop the large feline tradition for a new naming convention. This one, v. 11.0 will be known as 7-XI. The announcement apparently caused a drop in stock price of the similarly-named convenience store chain, whose lawyers are trying to file an infringement suit before Apple sues them. -- Wes Groleau People would have more leisure time if it weren't for all the leisure-time activities that use it up. -- Peg Bracken |
