Apple will release a 4.0.1 soon (bug fixes, security features, perhaps some minor tweaks but no significant changes). If there is a 4.1, it will include more significant improvements, perhaps some changes in behaviour. There's likely to be an update that knows about the new iPod Touches expected in September. That may or may not be the update that also knows about iPads. -- Chris
