I haven't seen that problem on mine, thankfully. I noticed a large PoI update the other day - hopefully they'll have removed some average speed cameras on A38 roadworks which are long gone. > The other issue I have with it, and one I have an open bug report for, > is the voice prompt telling me to turn right when the map is showing a > left turn. I've seen (and heard) that once but it was on a turning which I was familiar with anyway. Many thanks for the info. Stuart -- cut that out to reply

Extremely unlikely. Apple has rarely (if ever) implemented special support for downgrading. Apart from anything else, downgrading to 3.x from 4.x will expose you to known security issues which Apple has published. It is more likely they will aim to do performance improvements in 4.0.x updates. -- David Empson dempson(a)actrix.gen.nz

ALK have come back asking for details of the trip on which I encountered the problem. I don't think I can do that as I have lost all previous trip details due to reinstalling the app. I'm driving down to London at the weekend over a route I know well, I'll keep it running for the trip to see if it misbehaves. -- http://www.dream-weaver.com/email.php Web development promotion and seo http://www.spaldingcomputers.co.uk http://www.overseasmovingsolutions.com/ |
