If you actually think Flash isn't a CPU hog and buggy, or that most
other Adobe apps don't have annoying UI issues you're living in a
fantasy land :-)

Not to mention (and more importantly) Flash is proprietary, rather than
open like HTML5.

I agree it is annoying. But that is what war is like. We need to
just get through things and survive somehow. Do you really
suppose an earthling and I could ever easily communicate?

If you use flashblocks, what - excuse the French - is the ing
trouble then? So what if some sites require Flash? Use Flash
block till you are good and ready to unblock. Let them sit in
tabs (they will just relax and have some quiet tea and hot cross
buns while waiting for you, they won't bother the CPU, honest).

You don't want to block them and you are not ready to watch them?
What are you ready to do? To complain about the situation? The
world is not a perfect place. I have suggested a strategy for
you.

Is it me or is it you that is going mad? If me, let me know, I
will put myself in voluntarily. But give me some proof, what will
I say when I go to casualty? I don't want them to laugh at me and
throw me out straight away.

I think Newswatcher is a cpu hog and buggy, with annoying UI issues, but
I use it exclusively and I don't carry on a religious crusade against
it. What? You just don't like big corporations?

I don't, actually, find Adobe apps any more "annoying" in terms of UI
than any other. And I don't find Flash any more of a "CPU hog" than
anything else. And I develop open-source Flash.

Since when has .h264 been open? Show your work.
