"Hard" is subjective. "Harder", certainly. But if you're (the general
you, not specific) using it as a phone in the car, you're presumably
using a handsfree, in which case you can be on a phonecall while the sat
nav is doing its thing. And the music can either be controlled with a
stereo that supports iPhones, or (less slick) using the home button
double-press to bring up the music control overlay.

That said, I think it's too fiddly for regular use. If it's only used
once in a while (occasional use rather than emergency use, IMO) it's
fine. Well, reception problems that I have reported aside, that is.

But this problem applies to all converged devices, and unfortunately
everyone will have a different opinion of which features need to be
prioritised in the "make it easy to use these together" stakes. So
there's no real solution.

It would be tempting me, too, if I could find it.

website.

Copilot has an iTunes control within it so you don't need to leave the
application.
