Oh, the technology works fine, it's just... We have an answering/FAX
machine at our hovel in Geneva, from the time 15 years ago that Anne was
running Sotheby's educational courses. It's still there. I've tried
accessing the messages from here- there are always a few when we arrive
there, usually from the Geneva utilities. It works fine. But really,
there's no immediate need for any of them. No message we get nowadays is
urgent. We get a few whacky wrong numbers... So you're right. No use at
all.
