I'd have thought that the moment after activating a 5 kiloton self destruct mechanism is precisely when you'd *most* want to "undo last action". Now that might explain why I had so many problems with my Ibook. It might. But it wouldn't explain why every other laptop that's been anywhere near you has also had a similar fate. Daniele

That is a nice way to make it one-handed, if that is what you want. However I would find page-upping and page-downing in that way clumsy, hand-cramping and impossible to make precisely controlled multiple quick keystrokes up/down. When I am paging through a document, I am not typing, I am reading/scanning. Therefore I am happy to adopt a two-handed both-hands-spread-out-at-the-bottom-of-the-keyboard position. In fact I find it aids concentration on what I am reading. > >Can someone confirm or otherwise whether fn with the cursor keys works > >on modern Mac keyboards like this? > > It does with this aluminium full keyboard, and that's one-handable > because the fn key is above the arrowkey cluster. Nice that it is still a feature on modern Mac keyboards. Strange that it is not marked on the keys - how is one to know of the feature?
