I think that you are quite wrong about that. Some people are impelled to behave in certain ways, sometimes making them completely obnoxious. Mad people are extremely hard to take, one of the reasons being that they behave in irrational ways. But it's because they are mentally disturbed. I recently spent 6 days in a neurosurgical ward. Four beds. Extremely nice chaps, but some of them had brain damage that made them behave very oddly. -- Peter
