I'd like to point out that all I've wanted James to do is: Stop attacking me. Make the point that when he writes `accessibility' he means `accessibility for the blind'. I don't know why he keeps attacking me so viciously and maliciously. And I've certainly not attacked him unprovoked - although I'll admit I've defended myself against James's appalling malice against me. > Don't take it personally and ignore him, he's > just attacking everyone. Does the fact that I'm getting personal abuse here not bother you Jochem? It's okay for *me* to be criticized, but if I dare do that to anyone else, it's `he's just attacking everyone'? I call that hypocrisy. James Jolley is for example attacking me and has been doing so for weeks. Why do you not censure him? I'd actually be surprised if most people here didn't already know that that's exactly what he means - I see no reason that he should have to spell it out in full each and every time. Put it this way: how would you feel if people started insisting that you start out each and every one of your posts with a disclaimer that you have mental health issues? Pretty annoyed, I'm guessing. For instance, assistiveware at www.assistiveware.com write many accessibility solutions for those using switches and other input devices. They rely on the same sort of frameworks VOiceOver uses. I'm not going to cry blind every time someone posts. Surely, VoiceOver's mention is enough. I'm really quite amazed at the efforts Apple included to make they're frameworks usable for other developers, hense the macsoup discussion. I didn't realise that program was as old as it is, and I at least understand that it's usability won't improve. Best -JAmes-

It's far and away the best newsreader I've ever used, on any platform, but it's really showing its age in many areas. I wish Stefan could find the time and inclination to re-write it in Cocoa. I'd certainly be willing to re-purchase it. The Gods alone know I've got my money's worth out of it. Jim -- http://www.ursaMinorBeta.co.uk http://twitter.com/GreyAreaUK "Get over here. Now.
