But we both know that you're not just wrong but also being silly for the sake of winding me up. Stop pratting about, Jim lad. > Saying just Mac OS, in this context, whein you mean > 'Mac OS 9 or below' is ambiguous. But you are raising a null objection for the sake of winding me up. As you know, because of my very clear explanation to you personally, I do not use the phrase thusly. I would appreciate an apology for your mis-representation of my views. I use `MacOS' to mean `MacOS'. If I mean `pre Mac OS X', I'll specify that. If I mean `MacOS X', I'll specify that. Saying `MacOS' when you mean `Mac OS X only' is deliberate obfuscation - and it's what you do. > To me. Your claim is utterly baseless - ludicrous, really. You're just being silly. Oh, go boil your head. I don't have to do anything to wind you up, you're _more_ than capable of doing that yourself once you go down your usual "Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!" route. Infamy! > They've all got it in for me!" route. Yes, Jim, but you see: just look at your own behaviour this morning. Just look at the posts you've made - look at your own behaviour. Can you not see that you are in fact suffering from a morbid obsession which causes you to behave inappropriately when I'm around? Go on, can you see your own defects? Can you look up from your obsession with insulting me and criticising me and see your *OWN* flaws? No? If you can't, do really do need to seek help. I'm serious, Jim - if you cannot see what you are doing wrong, you've got a bad problem which needs fixing. Rowland. P.S. As usual, Jim's allegations about me are pure bullshit intended solely to wind me up. He takes pleasure from hurling grossly unfair personal abuse at me because he likes to see me howl - take, for example, this latest post in which he claims that I wind myself up by claiming that they're all after me. Which is bullshit - I do nothing of the sort. But Jim just has to make the allegation because he knows that I'll respond badly to it - it's just sadism on his part, persecuting the mentally ill because he likes to see 'em howl. Tim, when are you going to look at your own misbehaviour with a view to correcting it? This newsgroup exists for technical discussion of things relating to Macs. It does not exist to give you a chance to exercise your morbid obsession with winding me up until I howl, which is just mocking the afflicted. That sort of behaviour is not decent, civilised behaviour. You need to understand that you have some sort of a behavioural problem, and seek to correct it. I'm being perfectly serious when I tell you that your GP can prescribe you drugs to help with obsessive-compulsive disorder - and it does look to me as if you are suffering from a mental health problem in that line. Seriously, Tim, you need to stop yelling at me and look to your own self for a solution to the problems you are suffering.
