You will be assimilated." :p Well, you know, earlier this year, there was someone on one of the UFO groups - I have in the meantime left those because of the spam and the trolling - who showed many of the traits of Alan Connor/Sidney Lambe - for one, he or she could not interpret headers correctly and any reply to his or her posts, whether hostile or benevolent, agreeing or disagreeing, was met with four letter words and ad hominem attacks - and who *insisted* that I was a CIA agent, eventhough I'm not even an American citizen. Actually, we were allegedly *all* CIA agents, the whole group. :-) Well... If that is true, then I'm going to contact Langley for my paycheck, because I haven't seen a dime from them in all of those years. :p Like I said, there were many similarities, i.e.: - not being able to ascertain where a poster posts from; - being hostile to whomever replies, whether in agreement or disagreement; - making claims without providing evidence, even when called upon this; - swearing and insulting; - nymshifting; - total paranoia; - accusing multiple distinct posters of being one and the same person; and - attention-starvedness. The differences: - said poster was using a Windows newsreader - I believe it was X-News but I am uncertain; - said poster always used a web URL as the posting name, which would be changed to a different URL when the nymshift occurred; - said poster did not claim to be using a "gagging filter"; - said poster's claims were all with regard to the purported "Planet X", also known as "Nibiru", or about the inclination of the earth's rotational access, or about earth being on a decaying orbit which would allegedly cause it to crash into the sun anytime soon. In other words, it is highly likely that this poster was not the same person as Sidney Lambe/Alan Connor, but the similarities were so eerie that they could be either siblings or escapees from the same mental ward. ;-) -- *Aragorn* (registered GNU/Linux user #223157)
