The problem with you is that I see the name on the posts and know that they say nothing, so I just mark them all read in bulk. Dirk

And when the per capita income of the Chinese is comparable to the Japanese the Chinese economy will be about 3x larger than the US. That's if they screw up. Otherwise it will be considerably bigger than that. Dirk

Once again, the advice is probably good for the gigantic mass of dilettante fitness enthusiasts who irregularly trot into the their little designer gyms for their half-hearted excuse for a "workout" as indicated by a wee bit of elevated breathing rate and perspiration. The advice is not for and is ignored by the serious athletes with high pain tolerance who are training for a fundamentally dangerous/injurious activity of one form or another anyway. Almost *all* the combat sport trainers recommend Hindu squat in addition to the even more punishing plyometric high stress power jumps, of one form or another (burpee w/jump), for the development of the maximum explosive force development strength necessary for survival. These people do not seem to be falling out left and right with crippling knee damage, their knees are strong, and used as weapons in some cases. Since Sloman has been playing field hockey since his youth, he is experienced enough to experiment with Hindu squats, in my estimation.
