I am still for comp.sys.handheld.ipad - but if you want to mac part then
comp.sys.mac.handheld.ipad - otherwise there won't be any difference to
using the iphone group.

Until the formal introduction of the iPhone SDK, it was simply
referred to, at least publicly by Apple, as "OS X".

Since then, it's been referred to as "iPhone OS".
