By co-incidence I had a play with one today too. The guy was running
two things I would definitely want to use - Things and MindNode - which
made the whole thing a bit more relevant too.

Looked fine to me - I'm still sceptical in a number of ways but the
manner in which I'd like to use it at work seems perfectly feasible.
Screen quality was excellent too.

Cheers,
Ian

Really? I have complete and utter faith in it (i found outlook was a bit
iffy, so never use it, i use ical and on m pc just go to me.com/calendar.

I put in fifteen to twenty appointments a week into my iphone/ical, and for
the last year i have also had the phone simultaneously syncing with a
corporate exchange server, without a hitch. i still do a weely backup of
mobileme on my mac though...

I cant see any native support for voice entry.

i use a mifi (mobile dongle that acts as a wifi hotspot using the Three
network) device i have always switched on in my car. I entered the data on
the calendar on the ipad which *pushed* the update to mobileme, the phone
pulled the information down, the whole thing happened within a minute or so.

Actually the outlook bit worked ok here, it was ical to ical. First
thing it did was wipe out all my appointments, then when I got it back
from the backup, I lost a couple of the later ones.

Now it seems to have moved my all day appointments to two days since the
clocks change.

When it runs out I will go back to google calendar which at least worked
from iPhone -> iPhone, and iPhone to some macs (though not my main one),
or look what other options are around.

I use it, but I have backups as I really don't trust it very much.

There's an app for that.
