I take it you have no practical experience with a tablet/ipad yourself eh?

But then again a good tablet is hard to find because HP quit making the
TC1100 a long long time ago. BTW the TC1000 came with feet on them that
could be used to prop it up just enough in a Starbucks and if you had a
TC1100 with a detachable keyboard you would be just like netbook/notebook
users in Starbucks but you would quickly have them out classed in a place
without tables.

I like that new tablet/netbook I've forgotten who's making where the tablet
plugs into the lid of a netbook and becomes its computer, giving you the
benefit of both a portable tablet when you don't have to type anything, or
a full netbook when you do or don't want to hold it for a 2 hour movie.

Plugged into its netbook configuration, it doesn't need a "stand". The
netbook also has a bigger battery that recharges it, I think, while it's
plugged into it....extending its range and usability.

If the iPhone and iPad are really so impressive,
then why do iFans keep making excuses for them?
