Recent hardware could work with *much* higher framerates (at least 300 fps should be possible on machine level). Nevertheless, I doubt that 'being able to see' a particular framerate is correlated to intelligence at all. The optical subsystem of a living beeing is hard- wired with the brain at a very low level. What one 'sees' is not what the sensors in the eye really reported. It is a filtered 'extract', providing only information required to make decisions how we should react to events. Applying the PFF formula to blind people gives a fixed IQ of 25 in any case. A human with an IQ of 25 is not able to stay a- live - most vital functions of our body are controlled by the brain. When I find some spare time, I will reply to the one or other posting. I'm busy with creating yet another operating system named IDEOS (the Intelligent Design Easy2use Operating System). 'Easy2use' is the main tenet, lightning speed and reliability are others. Naming the technology it's based upon 'Intelligent Design' is my answer to the religious movement with the same name.
