I'm pretty sure Michael knows where Ocala is. ;-)

Then there's this, and atmospheric scientist John Christy comes across
as a fairly level-headed and honest guy:

http://spectrum.ieee.org/energy/environment/a-critical-perspective-on-climategate/0

Quote "Readings taken at the surface show 0.16 or 0.17 degrees of
warming per decadea bit more than the microwave readings. That may not
seem such a great difference, but climate models indicate that if
greenhouse gases are causing this warming, the upper atmosphere ought to
be warming by about 1.2 times that of the surface, not less."

It seems things are unraveling at a faster clip than I thought was
possible ...

About ten miles north. On the other side of the empty and crumbling
citrus packing houses. :(

BTW,the citrus groves are pretty much gone all the way down to
Orlando.Partly due to freezes, part due to city growth.
I used to drive by a pair of groves on the way to work,I could smell the
orange scent at certain times. The right side grove is still partially
there, but disappearing bit by bit,the left side grove is now apartments and
office buildings. I think they keep the trees just so they get a tax break
for agriculture.

They used to grow almost to the state line. It didn't take long after
crossing from georgia into Florida on 441 in the '60s before you could
smell the orange blossoms.
