Oh, so THAT'S why a lot of announcers for NFL broadcasts still say "the
New York football Giants"! Can't have people confusing a team playing
in New Jersey with one playing in San Francisco...

Actually, it isn't about belief, it is about definitions. By some
definitions, Jesus has eternal life because he is not forgotten, still
being talked about and written about.

Similarly, Elvis has eternal life because decades after his death, he is
still being talked about, there are still reports of him being alive etc
etc. The same will likely happen to Michael Jackson and many other
people who have left a significant legacy in the world's history.

Heaven: your legacy is remembered as having been a positive influence on
the world. (Nelson Mandella comes to mind).

Hell: your legacy is remembered as having had a terrible influence on
the world. (Hittler, Bush Jr, BinLadin, Tim McVeigh etc).

Once you die, you cannot do any more actions to change your legacy so it
stays that way for eternity.

What about this virgin birth business - do you believe it? Do you
think that Mary accidentally picked up some semen from a toilet seat?
