If i wanted a scrollball, I'd buy a scrollball. I don't want to use a scrollball to navigate.

In fact, I find it easier: With Mighty Mouse, the majority of the time I grabbed it, I inadvertently activated the side buttons. -- iMac (27", 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD) OS X (10.6.3)

Absolutely! It's a great mouse but since it doesn't fit in the hand anyways, why didn't they make it an half-inch thinner? Then, of course, it wouldn't be so "Magic", it would be called a touchpad, which most people heartily hate. Now, as far as functionality goes, I prefer a mouse that clicks only when I click, not because I happen to put a finger in the right wrong place. Now, you might want to pay Jobs $70 for those features. I prefer to pay Logitech $9 for a mouse that works. I move right and left and diagonally all I want and if I used speadsheets, there are keyboards shortcuts that are more snappy than mouse mouvements since you must keep your hands on the keyboard to enter data. So, if some gadgets makes you a happy campers, go for it! But when JF Mezei says: "So the mouse living in the basement ceiling has outlived this Migthy Mouse, my 3rd one. (and this depsite plenty of rat poison having been thrown in the space between ceiling and floor where the mouse lives)" Or, after a cleaning attempt: "Now my ball is rather loose inside the mouse. :-) "Actually, having an ejectable ball mechanism would have been better. You could just buy spare ball modules and pop the old one out and put a new one in. "Taking the ball asembly apart is easy. Putting it back is a chore due to the magnets not wanting to stay in place." I suggest he buys a $9 Logitech mouse. It just works and takes one minute once a year to clean. Now, if you want to buy Jobs' silly stuff, go ahead, buy it! Now, this thread being now flooded by Apple's trolls silly comments, so that it became unreadable, I would think this will be my last post in it.
