Even then, USENET is not representative of how normal people are and think. A lot of the chest thumping hard men on USENET are meek as you like in real life. It wouldn't surprise me if a couple of the posters in this thread turned out to be American school kids getting their kicks out of thinking everyone else is getting worked up over them.
