The drug is the same.

I've come across generics supplied by different companies but the contents are the
same.

The biggest change I've seen is with some antibiotics that used to be supplied
loose in a bottle that now come 'blister packed'.

Are you trying to suggest that's an issue ?

The American healthcare system scores an own goal again. See previous discussion
about the merits of producing new drugs to replace those that have come
off-patent.
