There's some mild stereotyping, like Californians are goofy and Vermonters are austere and Bostonians drive badly, stuff like that, but usually based in fact. And I don't see a lot of reports of killings based on regional hatreds. None, in fact. Just look at the big sports competitions, the World Series and the Superbowl; there's no seating segregation at all, and violence among fans of competing teams is nil. Compare that. John
