The downside is that having actual data on your side doesn't mean a tinker's darn to folks who can't think and won't bother trying. And if history, human mental laziness, and the real difficulties and time involved in really learning things well are any indication, having facts is a losing battle before you even start. It is mostly a matter of finding some glib phrase that speaks to pre-existing prejudice that wins hearts. Sadly. Jon |
