So,it would be OK for one of your country's political parties to levy taxes
of their own,in their wards,not part of the government's taxes?
And then use it for their own purposes?

It's no different than if a member of the KKK was elected to some US gov't
office,then the KKK starts levying taxes on the residents in the US South.

I wonder what happens if a Lebanese resident does NOT pay the Hezbollah
taxes? I suspect it's not pretty.
