Lets just say it wasn't quite a > "Stock" engine when I finished. ;-) I'll bet. I didn't 'hotrod' mine when I rebuilt it but as far as possible 'blueprinted' it. The pistons and con rods were matched for mass for example. Every bearing was replaced including the camshaft ones - new camshaft, chain and tensioner - reground crank - new pistons of course to fit the oversize bores. Head cleaned to perfection. Oilways degunged. Cam followers selectively replaced. You know the score. Whilst it may not have been the fastest ever, I did receive one comment that it was the quietest and smoothest idling Ford engine a car rep mate of mine had ever experienced. Graham

Sure... and Harvard just released a study result that declared that drinking two cans of soda a day causes a 15 Lb per year weight increase. I have been drinking damned near a twelve pack of soda a day for years, and my weight gain has been a steady 3 Lbs per year... ALL of my life. So much for study results.

The two things aren't exclusive. People elected Sin Fein councillors and even MPs while the IRA was levying taxes. Hamas and Hisbollah do run welfare and social services, though; I haven't heard that Sinn Fein did/does. Maybe they aren't necessary in the north of Ireland; I bet there are no state services in Lebanon and Palestine. -- OOO - Own Opinions Only.
