That's lightyears newer than anything I run, but I'm looking to
upgrade to not-so-old. If it's totally 100% linux compatible, I'll
check it out. Geeks.com may have some mobo/cpu combos for sale.

I'll take your word for it as you seem to be one of the more
moderate Linux users.

I'm primarily referring to loons like Ahlstrom, [Homer], HPT,
Terry Porter etc.
