When I used Windows XP, I had an icon on my launch toolbar that brought me directly to the desk top. Is there something that does the same in Windows 7? It saves me time from having to minimize all open applications in order to get to the desk top. I appreciate your help ... 15 Jan 2010 10:29
windows 7, 64bits cannot see a folder
Hi, I have a folder on a usb drive created in windows xp. It is called winzip9. The icon is dimmed with light yellow color. I can use it on windows xp pc. Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Version Confusion
i'm having the same problem . we have to demand that ms allos us using win xp pro 64 bit to be able to create a dual boot keeping our xp programs. i have several partiyions and a second sat drive in my computer ready to install a dual boot. BSOD in one profile only...
Hey folks, I'm running Windows 7 Pro, and my laptop has two user accounts, work and home. Both are administrator accounts and whenever I install any software if is always installed "for everyone". Removing Vista
My Dell Inspiron 530 came with Vista installed - a friend removed the Vista and installed Windows XP. Win 7 Start-Run keystroke
Firstly, are there no Windows 7 specific groups? This really isn't a 64 bit issue - I suppose the 32 bit version does the same thing. With XP and prior version of windows, I could put directories on the start menu so that I could press Start followed by the first letter of the directory, and it would open that... 9 Jan 2010 22:54
